acuppaday: There is no better example for me that coffee, like all food, is an emotional experience, than this shot of Handsome Coffee Roasters espresso. As a recent startup Handsome has quickly become the darlings of the specialty coffee world. As personal friends of mine, this has been somewhat magical to watch. In any event, I’ve been going to Marlow & Sons every morning this week trying to catch their revolving espresso program as it lands on Handsome, and finally got lucky. This is the first Handsome experience I’ve had outside of their Los Angeles headquarters, or in the wild so to speak, and it did not disappoint. The espresso was bright, sweet, and creamy, and once again served to me in a very pleasant environment.
